Museum Without Walls

Nassau County Museum of Art's Sculpture Park is one of the largest publically-accessible sculpture gardens in the Northeast. The 145-acre property, the former Frick Estate, offers the perfect setting for the approximately 40 outdoor works of art, many of which are in the museum's permanent collections, others on extended loan from prestigious venues such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and many galleries. Tom Otterness, Richard Serra, Mark di Suvero, Manolo Valdes, Allen Bertoldi and Fernando Botero are just some of the artists whose work is to be seen on the grounds.
